I plan, launch and manage paid and organic digital marketing for Kenyan brands — Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, SEO, SMS and email campaigns, analytics and full brand launches. Below is a transparent look at how that work has actually performed, drawn straight from client ad accounts and reporting.
Five years leading digital marketing at SolarGen Technologies (2021–2025). The breakdown below is pulled from the FY2024 digital revenue tracker — the fullest year of records — for a detailed look at return on marketing investment.

Every shilling of ad spend was working hard — total media cost for the year came in at roughly 1% of revenue generated, well below typical benchmarks for a lean in-house media budget.
| Quarter | Revenue (KSh) | Target (KSh) | % Achieved | Ad Cost (KSh) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Q1 | 1,790,476 | 3,750,000 | 48% | 16,240 |
| Q2 | 1,342,155 | 3,750,000 | 36% | 17,400 |
| Q3 | 3,873,869 | 3,750,000 | 103% | 52,040 |
| Q4 | 859,036 | 3,750,000 | 23% | — |
| Year Total | 7,865,536 | 15,000,000 | 52% | 85,680 |
Live campaign management — budget pacing, bidding strategy, and conversion tracking — screenshotted straight from the ads account.
For every $1 spent on this campaign in the sampled week, it returned roughly $51 in tracked conversion value — well inside Google's own "limited budget" warning, meaning there's clear headroom to scale spend further at a similar rate of return.

Two examples where the work went beyond running ads — building the brand and the sales channel it needed to sell through.

Maqbul is SolarGen Technologies' branded solar inverter and product line. I was the person behind bringing the brand to market — designing the Maqbul logo and visual identity from scratch, then carrying that identity through to the products and the showroom floor.
On the marketing side, I led the digital push around Maqbul: product photography and creatives for social media, the showroom wall and interactive display setup used to present it to buyers in person, and the ongoing digital marketing (social content, ad creative and campaign support) that introduced Maqbul-branded products to the market alongside the rest of the SolarGen catalogue.
As Software Developer & SEO Specialist for Sky Shoppe International, I supported both the SkyShoppe and SkySelections eCommerce platforms (web and Android app) end to end — front-end and back-end management, product listings, and the customer-facing side of the store.
On the marketing side, the focus was turning traffic into sales: SEO optimisation to bring in qualified organic search traffic, paid ads to generate leads for product ranges, and structured product listing management so campaigns pointed at pages that were actually ready to convert — backed by direct customer support through the platforms' digital channels.
Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, SMS and full brand launches — planned, run and reported on.

Multi-channel: social, SMS and organic
Paid search rarely works alone — it's paired with Meta/Facebook campaigns, direct SMS outreach, and organic growth tracking so every channel is pulling toward the same revenue numbers above.
Meta & Facebook Ads
Full-funnel Meta campaigns — awareness, traffic and conversion objectives — with audience targeting, creative testing and budget management across Facebook and Instagram placements for clients including SolarGen Technologies and Sundrop Energy.
SMS Broadcasts
Bulk SMS campaigns for reminders, promotions and time-sensitive offers — segmented sends, scheduled broadcasts, and pledge/payment follow-ups run through a dedicated SMS gateway.
